My Reflection:

 I enjoyed compiling the diaries together the most as we were being very creative in adding ideas to make the scrap book look "older" and making the artefacts. While doing this, it brought a lot of  laughter to the group as we came up with all sort of ideas. All these weeks I have see that the group has become more responsible. This is because if one person did not bring something, it would affect our progress in completing the task. This project has also enable us to be more cooperative when doing group by contributing ideas.

I am assigned to do diary entries number 2 and 9. Entry 2 is roughly about Things are being different as the announcer for a radio station is always excited and also news of wars are all along Singapore,near Australia and etc.Entry 9 is roughly about the family assuming that Tae-yul had died in the war as they receive a box that contained a sword that was wrapped and an envelope and that was sent to the dead soldiers' families.But in the end,Tae-Yul came back and explained to them the truth.
For the task,all our group members would copy the details from the draft papers to the yellowish papers that we had bought to make it seem that Tae-Yul had personally wrote the letters himself.

Hello !! It's me Yong Qing . I am here to update . I apologise for not posting any pictures because my USB is not working. I'll post pictures once i get it fixed .. By the way , i went to google and searched for the scrapbook decorations and found these two pictures. Maybe we can decorate our scrapbook journal and make it look like the picture on the left , it has a bit of japanese style with its light pink as its base colour , with whitish-pink coloured flower pasted all over it. Or , look at the picture on the right . It gives you the feel of the japanese autumn mood because of the light-pink coloured flowers right? Maybe we can draw flowers similiar to this picture to give our scrapbook a japanese "feel" too. Haha i am just suggesting :p .

Ok back to the topic , i have currently completed 2 journal entries . I still have another 2 journal entries to be written in cursive handwriting on the journal scrapbook . I have bad handwriting but i'll try my best . We will also be doing artefacts. I think doing the artefact is the hardest because it will use up alot of effort to find the materials, make and decorate them. Ok , i am going to do my literature now . Time to copyyyyyyyyy it on the yelllooow paperrr ! :D

-Get as many yellow leaves as possible as decoration for the scrap book and others decor u want to use e.g ribbon...etc

Today Jessie and I went to Urban Writes and purchase the the yellowish papers that cost $1.50/-
We decided to do a scrapbook using strings and papers to tie them into a scrapbook something like this....

The entries that were written on 28-03-11 was only a 'draft' so after buying the yellowish paper from Urban Writes,the group members have to transfer what they had written on that piece of yellow paper.

This week,all of the group members are doing the drafts of the 10 journal entries that Tae-yul needs to provide.I am responsible for completing the drafts of entries 5 and 6.

I have written the drafts for the two entries on two A4 size paper.Before i did the drafts,i read through the book again to refresh my memory and took some ideas from the book to elaborate on my diary entries.Our group is also going to buy the yellowish papers from the bookshop and after we done that,we will be transferring the informations,details from our diary entries onto the yellowish paper and that would be our end product.

 Hiii its me !!!
Yes , so i'm here to post because miss kaur said we need to have 4 post . Each person to 1 post . Hmmm , over the holidays , i read up on the keoko book to make sure i have every correct information . Our group will also be buying yellowish paper to make it look like an old journal . We will then combine the paper which we bought together into a book . In the book , we will write about the events that had happened according to the date .
YongQing .

Entry 1

• Got a new law from the Japanese to have Japanese names   
• took an old book out and chose our new names by pinpointing anyone of them

Entry 2

•  Things are different as the announcer is always excited
•  news of war all along: Singapore,near Australia and etc.

Entry 3

•  Two Japanese soldiers went and confronted me when they found out that my bicycle was swift moving and fast but no matter how hard I struggled and bickered with them, its to no avail as Abuji was on their side
•  Abuji apologized to the Japanese soldiers about my rudeness
•  made a joke at me(the Japanese soldiers)

Entry 4

• when Sun Hee came home and told us uncle was away for a while, I knew something was amiss .
•  she beckoned me to go with her to the vegetable garden
•  I told her what had happened: Uncle working for the illegal immigrant and etc.

Entry 5

• Found out that Sun Hee had made a grave mistake
• Was extremely,terribly shocked and furious,there was a mixed feeling
• The Japanese held a neighborhood association because they wanted to confiscate the metals Korean familes held and not because of uncle and his friends being a traitor among the Japanese
